Personal interactions with her customers, communication, and innovative ideas are what keeps J.R. committed to her finding her clients individual needs and forging a plan to produce a kitchen they can love for years to come.

With over 18 years' experience in Hawaii's design industry, J.R. LUDLOW has spent her adult life using personal and career experiences to influence the way she sees and responds to design challenges. Living in Hawaii for 23 years on Oahu and now 18 months on Maui, and designing in high end showrooms to small, independent design firms, she has been able to craft a career based in creating spaces for the individual. 


JR earned her MFA from the University of Hawaii at Manoa with a specialty in Textile/Fiber Arts and her BFA from Kent State University. Post-grad, J.R. spent 4 years teaching at UH and later taught Kitchen & Bath Design at Chaminade University for 5 years. She has won many local design awards through the Building Industry of America - Hawaii, ASID, and the National Kitchen & Bath Association both locally and nationally. She has also been published in both local and national trade journals. She has also served on the NKBA Aloha Chapter Board for over 10 years.
